5 & 6 July

On the 6th of July we woke up to find out our Air Conditioner had died in the middle of the night. Hot Texas Summer and no AC meant I left the house as soon as possible and spent as much time away from the house as I could!  I went to the chiropractor and then went on a shopping spree - picking up lots of items that I had been wanting but had not had the time to go get.  I got:

In addition to those things, I got a black skirt, a pair of blue jean shorts, some art supplies, protein powder and I even went to the phone store to try and get my phone fixed! 


After all the shopping, mom and I went to get our nails done.  Have you guys ever gotten the gel nails?  I got them for the first time before the cruise and they lasted a week and 2 days before I got them re-done, and they still looked pretty good - no chips, just my nails had grown out too much.  So, I had them re-done again and its been a week and a half and they still look great.  It is amazing to me because I normally chip my nails within a few hours of painting them - or getting them manicured.  I LOVE gel nails, and if you are like me and rough on your hands you should give them a try too!

Our AC was fixed right before we went to dinner, so thankfully it was much cooler in the house once we returned.  No AC = No Bueno!  I really hope none of you have to experience that this summer!
